Error Code 0x80072efd in Windows 8.1 Store.

Hey there,
Whenever I open the store, i get and error coded 0x80072efd, saying that 'We weren't able to connect to the store. This might have happened because the server problem or the network connection might have timed out.' Please help me out here. Note that i updated my factory installed windows 8 by downloading the win 8.1 pro from MS Store. Also my other apps are working fine and able to connect to the internet and I checked my firewall and Store is allowed in the 'Allow apps' option of Firewall config.

Sorry for the late reply.


Check if proxy connection is enabled. If yes, then disable the proxy connection and check the status.

Follow the steps to disable proxy:
a. Open Internet Explorer.
b. Click Tools and then click Internet Options.
c. Click on the Connections tab.
d. Click on the LAN Settings button.
e. Then uncheck the option Use a proxy server for your LAN.
f. Click Apply.
